Wade's Dr. Appointment

Wade went to the doctor this morning and after doing all of his tests, two more spots were found. One looked as if it was already there and has just grown big enough to see. The other, which is close to his diaphragm, appears to be new. They were unable to see it if it was there before. So, now we will wait for another six weeks to see what happens with these new spots. At his next appointment, a decision will be made to decide when to start chemo. So, yes, chemo is no longer an option. More will be discussed at the next appointment in six weeks to decide how and when the chemo process will begin. By them waiting the six weeks, it gives them a better view on the next cat scan and will help to guide their decisions for the chemotherapy. They are very small spots - somewhere around 2 to 3 mm. Of course we can only pray that the spots would not grow and that no more would appear, but only time will see. Wade is doing okay. He of course is upset, but he's hanging in there. So, we will continue to keep you updated on future decisions. Please continue to pray for Wade's healing. And one more note, my aunt, Tina Cullum, has been battling breast cancer for a while now and is currently in the hospital with complications. Some spots in her lungs have grown and a new spot was found on her liver. Please pray for her and her family as well as she begins a new chemo drug and continues to fight so hard!
